With the seed issue fixed, I went to the first stronghold in the second ring. I was going to try to one-cycle the dragon again. With no practice!
That was.. it was a fine idea. We all must start somewhere! I started, as it were, by not hitting any end-crystals and taking the dragon down half her health with 5 beds. Oopsie! I was all out of beds!
So I put my elytra back on and rocketed around to the crystals, spear-jabbing them (while being sure to wear my chestplate so it didn't take most of my health), and then flying into the dragon with my spear ready to pierce.
In the time it took me to get the crystals, she'd healed back up to full. Drat!
The jabbing worked! For a bit. Eventually she went to perch, and I went in for crits. She started to fly off and flung me (as per usual). I started to fly, but she followed. I thought it'd be fiiiine. I had like 8 hearts! Little did I know she would fling me into an obsidian pillar, instantly killing me. Well. That's unfortunate. I knew I didn't sleep in the portal room, but I was not sure where the last location was. Turns out! It was at the last stronghold.
But it gets worse! See, I slept at the last stronghold with a straw bed. Which I was not aware does not set your respawn. Uh oh.
Second uh oh. I did not immediately respawn in the overworld. Instead, I spawned many blocks in the air in the end I was in. Why? I am not sure. I have to investigate that I guess. This killed me instantly. It did, however, spawn me in the overworld.
What end was I sent to, though? Was it the end I was currently in? It does not appear so. See, I wrote another plugin that sends data to a server I have. Because I wanted to make little charts! Using that data I was able to see, after the dragon killed me with "kinetic damage", it spawned me in the end world I was in before this one. Which was Ring 1, End 3. I... I do not understand.
Unfortunately for me, though, it gets worse. I did not spawn at my last bed location, oh no that would be too easy! Instead, it put me at the coords (0, 101, 8). Ah, woof!
Because I prefer life over death I will have to leave from here, go find some gear I extracted from an end previously, and get back to that stronghold. Thankfully, I have the coordinates.
Woof. Well, I have a lot of walking to do. Thankfully, though, I have a lot of time coming up. Im getting my wisdom teeth out in... 9 hours? I am not excited.
